Recruited to lead a new organization (Business High Point - Chamber of Commerce) formed through a merger of High Point Partners and the High Point Chamber of Commerce.o Grew annual revenue from $750K to over $3M, membership grew from 600 to 950, and endowment from $200K to over $4M in 6-year tenure. o Raised over $2M to create THRIVE High Point, a program designed for minority- and women-owned businesses, which has engaged 300+ businesses.o Recognized in The New York Times, Forbes and other media for leading the development of Congdon Yards (congdonyards.com), a $67M public-private initiative with the goal of transforming and revitalizing downtown High Point (including the renovation of 225,000 square feet of historic hosiery mills). o Shepherded a $50M philanthropic investment from David Congdon and the Earl and Kathryn Congdon Family Foundation, and directly raised an additional $17M from public and foundation grants and private and corporate donations to fund Congdon Yards.o Raised $500,000 to create the "Congdon Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Leadership".o Grew corporate investors ($20,000 per year for five-year commitment) from 15 to 35 during tenure.o Led numerous creative and innovative ways to support businesses during the COVID pandemic.
