In my most recent role as Assistant Restaurant Manager at McDonalds, I had significant influence on the success of the restaurant. I was a leader to 170 crew and 11 shift managers. My duties included managing food costs, rostering for high-volume sales under labour budgets, resolving/actioning customer feedback, resolving conflict, recruitment and training, safety and security, and managing day-to-day operations. During my time here, I implemented initiatives to improve training processes, ensure procedures were adhered to, and improve crew morale. I had a strong influence on the stores culture due to my unwavering positivity, and hard-working attitude every day. With this influence, I was able to create a competitive environment towards reaching KPI’s including speed, quality, and accuracy, which resulted in achieving our targets.

My general duties included leading and supervising team members, ensuring restaurant policies and procedures were implemented and followed, coaching and developing crew members, facilitating a positive customer experience, conflict resolution, and implementing initiatives to support business goals for QSC&V.My additional role as a Department Manager included recruitment, training, and development for new team members, safety and security, product quality and food cost management, and rostering crew during high-volume sales.

Created digital marketing content with a team to enhance followings on various social media platforms. I leveraged data-driven insights and networked with followers to fine-tune our strategies; producing engaging content and building the company’s LinkedIn following.

In this role, I organised meetings, delegated tasks, met deadlines, and provided feedback to contributing members. I also provided internal and external support to keep stakeholders informed and provided feedback highlighting program improvements. I built strong relationships with the incubator clients and industry mentors through good communication. I ran a team responsible for researching and developing written content under strict deadlines and overall had a significant impact on the program’s success.
