I founded the practice in March of 1990 and served as the sole owner and medical director until October of 2021. Currently, I serve as co-owner, co-medical director, and I practice full time general and emergency medicine. Also, I am certified in rehabilitation and acupuncture for dogs and cats. We provide complete veterinary medical care to dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, pet pigs, and many other species of pets plus FFA livestock. In addition to preventative care, medical care, and surgery, we also provide rehabilitation, fitness, boarding, grooming, house calls, pet pickup, and delivery services.Our doctors and team are on site 24/7/365 to handle emergencies and to answer questions or address any concerns you have. We know how important it is to have the veterinarian, the other family doctor, available when there is a need. Since 1995 we have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) which is recognized as the world's leading association for small animal practitioners. A trained AAHA veterinary practice consultant regularly evaluates our facilities, equipment and procedures to make sure that we comply with AAHA veterinary care standards. Less than 14 percent of the small animal veterinary facilities in the U.S. and Canada are accredited members of the association. Since 2013 we have received Greater Houston Better Business Bureau Award for Excellence.Our current hospital facility was completed in March of 2011 and received the 2013 Veterinary Economics Merit Award in Hospital Design.We are only of only two Fear Free Accredited Hospitals (fearfreepets.com) in the greater Houston metroplex. We are also accredited as Cat Friendly Gold Status by the American Association of Feline Practitioners. We have worked hard to achieve and maintain LEVEL II accredited status with the Veterinary Emergency Critical Care society. We are the only VECCS accredited practice in the greater Houston metroplex.
