I started my professional career in retail where I learned the ins and outs of business management such as purchasing, marketing, promotions and people management. From there, I moved to Brazil and I worked as a project manager at an English school and helped grow the company from the ground up. I trained and recruited new members, and managed a large client portfolio. I shifted careers and returned to Canada and supervised employees at a casino. I worked on data analytics and used my skills to find procedural inefficiencies and streamline processes. I strived to create a positive culture within our team.From there, I took my people skills to new heights. I started working as a Flight Attendant with Westjet and learned to hone my customer service skills and received world-class training for both interacting with guests and emergency response. After Covid-19 decimated the airline industry, I landed back on the ground at Wealthsimple as a client experience associate helping Canadians achieve financial freedom.Currently, I am working on the Product team at Fidelity Canada with an exciting new offering so stay tuned for more on that!
