AH-64D Longbow Apache Pilot-In-Command and Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT) Aviation Safety Officer assigned in support of the U.S. government's AH-64D Longbow Apache Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program to the Kuwaiti Air Force. Maintain tactical and technical proficiency in all flight modes to include joint force and coalition operations. Function as the Team Chief's primary resource of aviation safety advice to the Kuwaiti Air Force (KAF). Build successful relationships with members of the KAF chain of command to facilitate the establishment and development of a proactive safety program/culture using Composite Risk Management as a model for a holistic program for loss prevention and, therefore, success on the battlefield. AH-64D Longbow Apache Pilot-In-Command and Task Force Assistant Tactical Operations Officer of an AH-64D and OH-58D Kiowa Warrior-equipped Task Force. Maintain tactical and technical proficiency in all flight modes to include joint force and coalition operations. Assist the Task Force Tactical Operations Officer with the management of Tactical Operations programs to include: aviation mission planning/mapping software management, Aircraft Survivability and Electronic Warfare equipment maintenance and management, and personnel recovery program while the Task Force conducted split-based operations in Iraq. Mentor and develop junior soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and officers.

AH-64D Longbow Apache Pilot-In-Command and Task Force Aviation Safety Officer of an AH-64D and OH-58D Kiowa Warrior-equipped Task Force. Maintain tactical and technical proficiency in all flight modes to include joint force and coalition operations. Function as the Task Force Commander's principle Composite Risk Management advisor, technical consultant, and coordinator. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all safety and occupational health programs that encompass the Task Force's 482 soldiers and civilians and approximately $1 billion dollars worth of equipment. Provide professional and technical assistance to establish a proactive safety culture in peacetime, training, and combat conditions. Mentor and develop junior soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and officers.

AH-64A Apache Pilot, Battalion Training Officer, and Observer/Controller-Trainer assigned to an Active Component/Reserve Component (AC/RC) aviation responsible for training, evaluating, and certifying Army Reserve and Army National Guard helicopter units as combat ready. Responsible for training and mentoring junior soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and officers of the reserve components. Additional responsibilities include maintaining tactical and technical proficiency in all doctrinal modes of aviation employment to include joint force and coalition operations, maintaining the battalion training calendar, coordinating training/support with outside agencies/facilities, assisting the Battalion Operations Officer, and maintaining the battalion's digital doctrinal publications library. Function as a safety Observer/Controller-Trainer when required.

AH-64A Apache Pilot-In-Command and company Aviation Safety Officer assigned to a forward-deployed (Germany, Kuwait, and Iraq) divisional attack helicopter battalion during America's war on terrorism (Operations Enduring/Iraqi Freedom). Maintain tactical and technical proficiency in all flight modes to include joint force and coalition operations. Function as the commander's principle safety advisor, technical consultant, and coordinator. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all safety and occupational health programs. Provide professional and technical assistance to establish a proactive safety culture in peacetime, training, and combat conditions. Apply Composite Risk Management principles during all company ground and air missions. Mentor and develop junior soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and officers.

AH-64A Apache Pilot-In-Command, company Aviation Safety Officer, and battalion Fire Marshall/Building Manager in the most forward deployed attack helicopter battalion in the Republic of Korea. Maintain tactical and technical proficiency in all flight modes to include joint force and coalition operations throughout the battalion's operational area. Function as the commander's principle safety advisor, technical consultant, and coordinator. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all safety and occupational health programs. Provide professional and technical assistance to establish a proactive company safety culture. Conduct risk assessments of all company ground and air missions. Responsible for all battalion building and equipment fire inspections and prevention actions. Responsible for training all soldiers in fire-prevention and safety procedures.

Range Officer-In-Charge and safety officer of the Molinelli Aerial Gunnery Range Complex which is valued in excess of $28 million. The Fort Rucker Commanding General's, Aviation Training Brigade Commander's, and Battalion Commander's direct representative during the conduct of range operations. Responsible for the range complex's daily operations to include Aviation Training Brigade coordination, contracted civilian maintenance, refuel, and armament teams, and crash rescue. Responsible for all aspects of safety, training, and airspace management while aircraft conduct live-fire aerial gunnery. Maintain range utilization records, assist in quarterly range conference coordination, and participate in standardization/safety conferences as required. Additionally, I maintained either AH-64A Apache or UH-1H Iroqois (Huey) Flight Activity Category III minimum flight hour requirements.

Responsible for maintaining a high degree of tactical and technical proficiency in accordance with aircrew training manuals and Army regulations. Ensure combat readiness and safe operations to meet all missions in the European theater and worldwide. Maintain proficiency in all aspects of Combined Arms operations. Additional responsibilities include battalion Communications Security officer (responsible for maintaining accountability of all cryptological material and equipment, supervising the maintenance of communications equipment, and equipment upgrades), battalion memorabilia officer (initiated a memorabilia program to reflect the battalion's heritage and future as part of reflagging preparations), company Communications Security officer (properly safeguarded and distributed Communications Security material, supervised the maintenance of Communications Security equipment, and maintained accountability and serviceability of Night Vision Goggles/Devices and weapons), and, as company Combined Federal Campaign officer, raised money for the federal charity program.

Responsible for the effective and safe employment of the AH-64A Apache, maintaining a high state of readiness, ready to provide quick reaction for a fast and decisive victory over any enemy force in a multi-national/North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) environment. Additional responsibilities include battalion Communications Security officer (responsible for maintaining accountability of all cryptological material and equipment, supervising the maintenance of communications equipment, and equipment upgrades), company Night Vision Goggle custodian (responsible for accountability and maintenance of Night Vision Goggles), and battalion Hazard Communication officer.

Responsible for attaining and maintaining a high degree of tactical and technical proficiency in accordance with aircrew training manuals and Army regulations. Responsible for ensuring safe operations and combat readiness to meet wartime missions in the European theater and worldwide.
