About Patrick Collene

I'm currently the EHS Coordinator at Hanon Systems in Carey, Ohio.I've spent over thirty years at the Bucyrus Timken plant. My most recent role was Environmental Health and Safety Lead Manufacturing Associate. In this role I had many responsibilities. Of those were many audits, investigations, assessments, safety communications, and instructing new hires. I was responsible for the fire protection systems, a member of the Medical Response Team and leader of an observation based safety program called PBS. I have OSHA 30 certification.Previous to that role, I spent time in Supply Chain as Stores Attendant receiving and controlling inventory. I was also a Machine Attendant and Instructor for many manufacturing processes.I am currently a captain on Holmes Twp. Vol. Fire Dept. There, I am a crew leader with training in many skills with certifications FF1 and EMR.Safety must be the first consideration in all jobs. Without it, we can't be very productive and is costly.
