Patrick Conaway is an Arts Executive, Actor and Educator based in Natick, MA. Patrick is the Founder and Executive Director of Actors Company of Natick (ACON), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to producing theatre with purpose. While working at ACON, Patrick works in conjunction with every facet of the non-profit to include artistic programming, development/fundraising, marketing, community engagement, human resources as well as EDI (equity, diversity, inclusion) implementation.In addition to managing ACON, Patrick also holds a board member position with Friends of Natick Drama Workshop (NDW.) NDW is a recreational program for children in grades 5-8. He plays an active role in program management, fundraising, marketing, and promoting theatre education.Furthermore, Patrick is an Actor and Theatre Artist. Patrick has acted professionally across New England in many theaters to include The Hartford Stage Company, Firehouse Center For The Arts, Saratoga Shakespeare Company, and The Central Square Theatre.In addition to his work in the arts, Patrick has over ten years of working in various educational fields. Patrick was a Site Coordinator at Needham Extended Day Program (NEDP.) At NEDP, Patrick oversaw a staff of 10-12 adults and 55-75 children Monday through Friday at two Needham schools over his employment. Currently, Patrick works for the town of Natick as a Substitute Teacher at Natick High School. He also works seasonally at Woodtrail Camp as an Assistant Director through Natick's Parks and Recreation Department. In 2021, Patrick and his partner, Paige Matheson, were hired as Dorm Parents at The Walnut Hill School For The Arts in Natick.He holds a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts from The Hartt School at The University of Hartford. In 2015, Patrick earned his high school diploma from Natick High School. He has also completed trainings at Drama Studio London (Ealing, United Kingdom), Monash University (Prato, Italy), Shakespeare & Company (Lenox, MA) and Company One Theater (Boston, MA.)
