CAPES Scholar from the University of São Paulo for 6 months at GCARE. Primary work concerns analysis of air sensor data in and around schools and green spaces, as well as supporting ongoing GCARE projects.

Contracted through the Pan American Health Organization to provide technical support for the General Coordination of Environmental Health at the Brazilian Ministry of Health. Primary focus on public policies related to health impacts of exposure to air pollution.

Primary responsibilities included conducting air quality inspections, responding to air quality complaints, and executing resulting enforcement actions. Worked with regulated parties, consultants, and other MPCA staff to ensure compliance with federal and state air quality regulations.

As specialist in EPCRA department, primary work involved assessing facilities for SARA reporting eligibility and completing Tier II, TRI, and HMBP reporting for facilities nationwide.Provided on-site environmental audit services to clients across the US.On-site services included inspections for RCRA, NPDES, Air Permit Requirements, ODS, SPCC, and EPCRA.Communicated professionally and effectively with clients and regulatory agencies.

Assisted faculty in research projects investigating soil erosion and soil quality metrics

Conduct self-guided research on soil erosion rates in southern Illinois, including sample collection and analysis, data collection and entry, and submission of findings
