- Support the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer to ensure the financial systems are (as a minimum) industry standard and, financial forecasts accurately reflect the company’s circumstances.- Preparation of Annual and Half-Yearly financial statements for an ASX listed entity.- Management of the Group’s international audit process.- Management of all financial reporting activities of the group, including preparation of multi-company consolidated reporting.- Preparation of monthly management accounts.- Supervise and lead the finance function of Ghanaian subsidiaries, 17 finance staff.- Preparation of Quarterly ASX Cashflow statements.- Preparation of taxation returns, including income tax, monthly ATO activity statements and Payroll Tax returns.- Management of the banking and treasury relationships, including Project Loan from South Africa and Refinery from Switzerland.- Preparation of budgets, forecasts, cashflow models and scenario analysis.- Assist the Company Secretary with ASX and Corporations Act compliance.- Review and update group insurance requirements.- Assist the Investor Relations Manager with dealing with shareholder enquiries.- Preparation of and on-going maintenance of the Group’s Employee Share Option Plan.

- Preparation of an income streams map of 15 income streams and 76 information systems, from source to management reporting.- Conduct audit of various income streams to test the accuracy of final management information.- Assist Regional Company Directors with management information queries and mis-reporting queries.- Liaison with information systems department in Hyderabad, India to explain mis-reported income.- Assist the Finance Manager with a re-cut of the Commercial Segment’s 2010 performance plan.

Business advisory services and advice, including:- Income tax return and preparation of Australian government compliance documents,- Preparation of statutory financial statements and reports,- Management reporting, cash flow projections, budgeting and forecasting,- Reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, data analysis, ledger maintenance, - Goods & Services Tax- Entity structuring,$1m annual Business Advisory fees under management of approximately $9m firm-wide annual fees.Control of the largest of three Business Advisory teams.Heavily involved in training of graduate staff, with four of five team members under my management having 2 years or less accounting experience.Involved in recruitment of graduate staff, including representing William Buck (WA) at the ICAA graduate recruitment evening, vetting of resumes and conducting interviews for successful applicants.
