After the break of the contract between Centerplate and the Notts County the Catering and Events department was TUPE'd over.At this instance we had less than 24 hours to start a new company and have it fully functional for the match day the next day. In our first year we were able to surpass many expectations, managing our own contracts and setting up new suppliers and keeping low costs. This ensured the company was able to post a controllable profit and was nominated in the stadium experience awards for a match day hospitality award. This was carried on to the second year with our conferencing and events department growing and sales up by 35% despite the football club being relegated.

During my time with the Lindley group & Centerplate I worked my way up from a member of a team of bar workers to a role as a Bars and Duty Manager.As Bars and Duty Manager at Notts County I was responsible for all bar operations on match days and non match day events & the business performance of these, whilst maintaining high standards of spirits & wines, food service, health and safety and helping to deliver the best service to customers at all times.

While I was at Leicester Tigers I was responsible for the set up of the retail areas of the stadium and collating the retail financial reports post match days. While on non match days I would be tasked with running events and managing a team of staff. On match days I had the responsibility of being a Stand Manager, within this role I was responsible for the catering of up 7,500 public and 500 corporate guests, while managing and staffing four separate bars and restaurants.
