I was responsible for weekly production code releases for our 10 products. Monitored and maintained all systems & services to ensure uptime. Provided 24x7 on call support. Responsible for conducting detailed root cause analysis on any problems or outages including how to prevent problems from occurring again. In charge of using Talend as an ETL tool to provide reporting data across different database platforms. Provided tier 3 support for several of our products including our largest product with 18,000 + end subscribers. I was also in charge of creating scripts to archive our log data & in charge of all backups of our dev and production environments. I really enjoyed working for this company and was surrounded by a lot of sharp people & learned a lot because of it. Like most startups, this one eventually folded.

I built & managed all of TrenStar's IT infrastructure including, servers, firewalls, networks, backups, security etc. Prior to our company's divestment and sale, I had the great opportunity of working directly with larger clients such as Firestone and New Belgium Brewery and implemented some neat RFID technology as well.

I worked as a Jr. Systems Administrator learning the ropes of the Systems Administrator role and how corporate environments work. This was also a great opportunity to help build the infrastructure for a successful spin-off startup company, foodservicewarehouse.com.
