Currently a Senior Project Manager with Tait & Associates with over 25 years of experience in civil engineering and land surveying. In 2012 I ended my 10 year tenure as the founder and Principal Engineer of Madison Civil Engineering (Madison FCS Inc.) in Corona, CA with a full range of expertise in land development from the initial research and survey, through entitlements, construction, and grand openings. Projects have ranged from large commercial/retail, automotive dealers, hotels, and public infrastructure down to small scale sites for custom homes, flood certifications, and boundary reconciliations. I spent 6 years in Arkansas in during Wal-Mart's first large scale expansion program, entitling and designing their Supercenters over a nine state region in the Midwest. Transferring back to Los Angeles In 1996 to expand CEI's region to the Greater LA area where I have managed some of the larger commercial developments in Southern California for companies such as Boeing, Home Depot, Shapell Industries, and Industrial Realty Group. Since 1999 I have been the Engineer of Record for the redevelopment of the former Boeing/Rockwell/NASA/North American Aviation site in Downey, CA, through its transition from the site that created stages of the Mercury, Gemini, & Apollo, as well as the Space Shuttle programs, first reshaping the existing facilities into a major movie studio (Downey Studios) while the land was being environmentally treated, then onto its final steps into a large scale retail center along with upgrading the surrounding infrastructure into a modern and safe destination for shopping, entertainment, and hospital/healthcare facilities. Personal interests include family, photography, a never ending quest to expand my abilities as a private pilot into a viable goal of completing my career as a commercial pilot for a global shipping company, along with appreciating my parallel position as a certified software programmer for Apple's iOS operating system.
