CurrentPatrick’s Primary ResponsibilityPatrick Cronan is The Electrical Department Manager at Ardebili Engineering. My primary purpose is to ensure that the electrical department runs smoothly, achieves the department’s primary objective and makes sure that the department is progressing towards completing the long-term goals of the company while assisting all in the department to progress professionally.Department Staff Supervised:• Special Project Coordinators • Project Engineers • Division Managers • Project Managers • Project DesignersPatrick’s Description of Roles:As the department manager I oversee the electrical operations team and all the electrical work produced. I am an experienced Professional Engineer that has a deep understanding of what is required to produce electrical specific work and also possesses the people skill required to interact with clients and maintain the overall moral of the department. I have excellent problem-solving abilities and can help guide the department to find solutions in tough situations, work with clients on scheduling and/or design issues and assist the Director of Operations in identifying the cause of any issues. I also ensure that that process is being followed by my team, including to project set-up, checklists, kick-off meetings, design, engineering reviews, and client coordination. I have strong people skills to help motivate and train my department. My time management and project management skills are essential to provide the necessary coaching and direction to the team I supervise. I work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure deadlines for projects are met and that the workload is evenly distributed to the teams. I am capable to clearly communicate through Teams meetings, emails, and phone calls to provide any required guidance and direction.
