• Site Environmental Advisor Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and Onshore Pipeline cables and tubes Packages) directly responsible for;
• On-site implementation of the Upstream Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Providing technical guidance and on-site support to the construction team.
• Monitoring compliance against project environmental commitments (including Impact Mitigation Strategies and Chevron environmental approvals documents).
• Reporting of environmental incidents including external notification where required (in liaison with CVX Environment & Quarantine Superintendent and CVX Lead Interface Coordinator).
• Undertaking Level 1 environmental incident investigations

Dampier To Bunbury Gas Pipeline

• Client representative responsible for ensuring Contractor compliance with Ministerial Statement and the Construction Environment Management Plan. Other responsibilities included:
• Providing technical guidance and on-site support to the construction team.
• Liaison with Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) and Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP).
• Coordinating fauna management, and reporting.
• Monitoring compliance against project environmental commitments
• Managing cultural heritage on the project.
