I was also responsible for the co-ordination and facilitation of IWGs to develop Industry Competency Standards, new Training Programs, Assessment Guides and Procedures, understanding of Recognition of Prior Learning, the creation of Local Industry Bodies (LIBs, in the regions and provinces) to represent industry and provide advocacy to government, and the introduction of revised Sectoral Skills Planning. I also assisted TESDA, IWGs and LIBs to develop assessment and certification policies and procedures. I was responsible for establishing and running a zonal office to manage the implementation and monitoring of the project in regions six, seven and eight of the Philippines. -
