• As Marketing Manager of Ontario’s oldest and largest credit union, assets of the CS CO-OP (now Alterna Bank) increased to $920 million or by 122% with net income rising from $5.7 million to $56 million. CS CO-OP marketing expense ratios were consistently one third to one half the industry average for large credit unions. • Designed and implemented multi-media campaign strategies and tactics; negotiated and worked closely with agencies and printers; also managed and introduced in-house: desk top publishing, marketing database and research; all this resulting in cost savings estimated at in excess of $1.0 million, and faster response time to market opportunities.• Introduced use of automated teller machines. • Personally wrote hundreds of flyers, brochures, media ads, articles, posters and communiqués. Communicated marketing programs to CS CO-OP staff and a network of over 200 federal government volunteers. Provided direction on the conceptualization and production of television and radio ads. • Directed, wrote and produced CS CO-OP Annual Report in an extremely cost effective manner, saving company tens of thousands of dollars.• Provided marketing expertise to new product development committees and created the marketing launch for a wide range of new products. • Designed and conducted major marketing research involving thousands of members.
