The Team Lead Maintenance is the line manager of the Maintenance/Hardware specialists. He is leading the team strategically and with vision, to provide functional and sustainable test set-ups. Accountabilities Be responsible for strategic purchasing of the necessary and right test equipment and ensure its timely deployment. Ensure the right talent is on board, adequately managed and developed to contribute to the individual’s personal growth and Melexis global success, and secure adequate succession. Manage the resources (People, equipment, spare parts, services, infrastructure) in the optimal way to ensure continuity of business processes and optimal equipment availability. Establish concepts to reduce corrective maintenance efforts by transferring them into preventive/predictive maintenance activities, accompany their deployment and measure their execution effectiveness. Develop and deploy a vision for enhancements of products performances in terms of capacity, lead time and daily discontinuities throughout product life time.
