I am currently working with the pricing team at Pacific Life Re. I’ve had the opportunity to gain some hands-on industry experience, developing my modelling, programming and teamwork skills.Additionally, I am currently studying the Actuaries Institute’s fellowship program.I recently completed a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies and a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences, majoring in Applied Mathematics, at Macquarie University.During my time at university, I embarked on my first ever research project on differential equations in optimal stopping problems. This opportunity allowed me to extend upon the skills I’d developed throughout my studies, including not just mathematical knowledge, but programming and communication skills as well.I have also gained over 6 years of experience in tutoring mathematics at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. I have tutored a diverse range of students, including HSC high achievers as well as students with learning difficulties.Furthermore, I’ve developed strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills through my participation in community service and other extra curricular activities.My other interests include playing guitar and team sports.
