Experience in Loads and Dynamics analysis within Boeing Commercial Airplanes Flight Sciences Organization. Member of the Notre Dame Rocketry Team and served as the Team Captain and Project Manager during my senior year. Worked as a Systems Engineering Intern in Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems (formerly Orbital ATK) supporting Integration and Test team activities for the ESPAStar satellite program. Tasks included design and fabrication of mechanical ground support equipment used to handle flight hardware and developing more detailed work instructions for spacecraft assembly. This required collaborating with systems and electrical engineering teams as well as the mechanical technicians on the floor to verify that instructions complied with all controlling documents (CAD drawings, interface controls, handling procedures, etc). Additionally, coordinated with systems engineering and GNC teams to ensure compliance of supplier components with spacecraft interfaces going into harness testing.

Worked in the Turbine Rotor Structures group in the Adaptive Engine Transition Program (AETP) to perform structural analysis of high pressure turbine components. Tasks included performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS Mechanical APDL and updating CAD models in NX. Was able to drive design iterations to reduce stresses in components by post processing FEA data. Additionally, wrote FEA scripts to be executed in ANSYS and presented results of summer work to team and chief engineers.
