Tool Coordinator
CurrentIdentify, investigate and research discrepancies with detail aircraft parts, minor and major aircraft assemblies and resolve the issues found to a root cause. Write the proper documentation to correct the issues, with Production Orders & Parts, Tooling Discrepancies,Engineering Drawings & Specifications and Tool Planning Sketches,Routings and Tasks. Write Tool Orders and Tool Notifications againstdiscrepancies found with Patterns, Templates, Blocks, Rout Tools, Bond Tools, Glue Fixtures, Minor & Major Assembly Jigs, Master Gages and Tranfer Plates. Once these Tools have been reworked per the Tool Order by the Tool Fabrication Department I will inspect and reject or buy off the rework and update any Tool Logs or Log Books and place my inspection stamp on the Order and the Tool. I also will transfer Laser Tracker Data and Point Cloud Data from zip-drive or E-Mail through FTP-Client to CATIA to analyze vectors, point clouds and data to the CATIA Tool Model or CATIA Engineering Model to help resolve Tooling or Engineering issues. Also write Engineering Change Request to correct Engineering Drawings and write Planning Change Request to correct errors in routings, tasks, sketches, and synthetic drawing numbers. I write Quality Notification and Rework Orders against Aircraft Parts and Assemblies that do notconform to the Engineering Drawings, Specifications and or the Planning.
