Los Angeles Metro Board of Directors unanimously approved a plan for the for the first leg of the $7.1-billion Southeast Gateway Line, a light rail line that will stretch 14.5 miles to Artesia. final approval of the project’s Environmental Impact Assessment by the board on April 25, Metro can move forward with efforts to secure federal funds for the project. The Southeast Gateway project's current estimated capital cost is estimated between $4.9 billion and $5.1 billion and service is slated to begin in 2033. it will include nine new stations, with six at-grade and three aerial, five park-and-ride facilities, and a maintenance and storage facility. More than 12.1 miles of the route will be at grade, requiring 30 crossings, and 2.4 miles will be elevated with 15 crossings.

The Ontario Line is a $10.9 Billion - 15.6-kilometre (9.6 mi) stand-alone rapid transit line that will connect the Ontario Science Centre to Exhibition/Ontario Place. Over half of the route is planned to run underground through new tunnels, with the remainder running along elevated and at-grade rail corridor sections of track. Fifteen stations are proposed, with numerous connections to the broader transit network, including GO Transit rail services, the Toronto Transit Commission's subway Lines 1 and 2, the future Line 5 (Eglinton Crosstown LRT), as well as numerous bus and streetcar routes. Project Benefits: Faster, more frequent and reliable access to rapid transit with more than 255,000 people will live within a 10-minute walk of an Ontario Line station * Improve the quality of life for commuters by reducing daily travel time * Reduce crowding on the existing Line * Up to 57,000 more jobs accessible by transit (in 45 minutes or less) for Toronto residents * Economic and community growth along the future transit line and thousands of job opportunities annually during construction * making it much faster to travel across the city, with a trip across the entire line from Exhibition Place to the Ontario Science Centre estimated to be 30 minutes or less compared to the hour and ten minutes it can take today; serving up to 388,000 trips each day, taking up to 28,000 cars off the road each day and moving up to 6,000 travelers off the most crowded part of Line 1 during the busiest hour; and generating $9.9 to $11.3 billion in economic benefits for the City of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. In my current role on this immense program undertaking, I am assisting the Ontario Line and Metrolinx in the planning, scheduling, program configuration, constructability, engineering, detailed design coordination and contract packaging Initiatives to make this program a reality and a great success.

East Side Access / Grand Central Madison project connects LIRR into a new station under Grand Central Terminal on Manhattan's East Side. The project's estimated construction cost is $12 billion making it one of the world's most expensive and complex underground rail-construction projects. The tunnels on the Manhattan side were dug from 2007 to 2011, connecting tunnels on the Queens side were completed in 2012. Extending between Sunnyside Yard in Queens and Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan, the East Side Access project is creating an LIRR branch from its Main Line through new track connections at Harold Interlocking. Harold Interlocking is the busiest rail service interlocking in North America, servicing over 800 trains daily through its intricate rail network. A storage yard adjacent to Sunnyside Yard is also being built. On the Queens side, four tunnels merge into two tracks and enter the lower level of the 63rd Street Tunnel. The new Midday Storage Yard comprises 33 acres and will contain 24 storage tracks. The line fans out into a bi-level station under Grand Central Terminal with eight tracks, four on each level. Additional storage tracks, which extend under Park Avenue south to 38th Street. The new terminal will contain eight tracks and four platforms in a two-level station 100 feet below street level. As the Sr. Program Manager for the scope at Harold interlocking and the Main Station build and interface at Grand Central Terminal, I performed all facets of project and program management. Including contract administration & mitigation, cost control, scheduling, risk and budget management. Maintenance of contract requirements, Client Management. Oversight and coordination of discipline leaders. Lead Management of Force Account and Construction Management teams. The Second Avenue Subway (SAS) Phase I - $4.5 Billion Dollar New York City Subway line that runs under Second Avenue on the East Side of Manhattan. The first phase of this new line opened on January 1, 2017, serving a projected 200,000 daily riders at three new stations between 96th Street and the 63rd Street Lines before connecting to the BMT Broadway Line and the rest of the subway system. The full Second Avenue Line is planned to be built in three additional phases, allowing new portions to open before the entire line is completed between 125th Street and Hanover Square. The proposed full line would be 8.5 miles (13.7 km) long with 16 stations and a projected daily ridership of 560,000, costing more than $17 billion.

$380 Million Dollar Rehabilitation of the South Ferry Terminal Station following the devastation of super storm Sandy that destroyed the facility. This Federally funded program rehabilitated the South Ferry Terminal Station to a State of Good Repair and protected the restored infrastructure from future flooding. The South Ferry Terminal is a key piece of New York City Subway system that is used by neighborhood residents, workers, tourists and commuters and when it is again operational it will greatly improve the efficiency of the entire Seventh Avenue subway line. Before the storm, 30,000 people passed through South Ferry each day, shuttling between Staten Island and Manhattan and around the labyrinthine streets of New York’s financial district. The rehabilitation work included leak remediation and repairs to the station, rail tracks, line equipment, signals and power equipment. Flood protection measures included hardening of station entrances, vents, manholes, hatches conduits and ducts. It also delivered architectural finishes such as civil and structural steel works, new ventilation system, pumping equipment, the refurbishment of two elevators and five escalators, fire protection, new traction power system and a range of electrical work at two circuit breaker houses and a ventilation plant. As the Sr Project Manager for this high profile project, I performed all facets of Program and Project Management. Including contract administration & mitigation, cost control, scheduling, risk and budget management. Maintenance of contract requirements, Client Management and site specific scope implementation. Oversight and coordination of discipline leaders. Lead Management of Force Account and Construction Management teams. Design Change, Management trough designers, Transit Rail Stakeholders and Client Program Management teams. Schedule Coordination and Program Direction/Critical Path Management. This Project achieved substantial completion on time and within budget.
