The focus of this role is the management of the day to day activities of a Special Business Unit within Wood Partners. To date this business unit has specialized in the managmenet of 3rd party general contractors constructing our high rise product in various cities in the Western Region. The role entails working side by side with our development partners from the conception of a project through turn over and the management of all stake holders - design through construciton - along the way.I have recently moved into a position to oversee the California region and am looking forward to continuing with our business unit on both 3rd party contracted projects as well as a few we build for ourselves.

What a great experience JE Dunn was. It was at Dunn that I was able to hone my project management skills while working for a large corporation on a variety of projects.The projects varied from historical renovation to cancer treatment centers to branch banks to tenant improvements. Projects ranged in size from $200,000 to $60,000,000 over my 5 years there as the South Central division grew in revenue from $40 million to in excess of $150 million!Working for a large general contractor whose mission is to be the most "client centered" contractor in the country was a perfect background for my current leadership role at Wood Partners.

2002-2004. Compass Bank. $10 million, nine facility expansion program of branch office/ marketing/ personal banking facilities each requiring development of 1 to 2 acre pad sites within larger tract developments. New construction, eighteen-month program involvement.

Exxon Mobil. 200,000 SF, 10 story, $15 million redevelopment of downtown corporate headquarters; executive, office, conference, cafeteria demolition and build out. Renovation, twenty-two-month program.

Uptown Park/ Villa d'Este. 600,000 SF, $65 million upscale retail center and condominium high rise tower; development of 12 acre land tract in Galleria area; series of five tilt wall buildings with brick, stucco, stone exterior and adjacent 30 story, 100 luxury unit, concrete structure tower with pre-cast/ glass exterior, sub-grade parking structure. Coordinate general contractor construction activities; manage design development, municipal entities and owner consultants. New speculative development, thirty-month

Summerfield Suites. $20 million extended stay hotel program consisting of one and two bedroom suites with full kitchens and living areas; three levels of wood construction with structural steel framing at clubhouse, stucco exterior and two passenger elevators. New construction, twenty-four month program.
