About Patrick Dionisio
I am a Physical Therapist orthopedic resident of Northwestern University, graduating from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL in April of 2024. I graduated from Creighton University in May of 2021 with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science and Pre-Health Professions. Clinical rotations during school involves experience with outpatient orthopedics, outpatient sports, outpatient neuro, and inpatient acute. Specifically, specialized clinical settings encompassed baseball and overhead throwers, weight loss, burns, and stroke rehabilitation. Past involvements during graduate school include student research into wearable sensor tracking utilization in patients with chronic and acute CVAs, volunteering with Chicago Youth Programs as a tutor, Gigi’s Playhouse as a coordinator for GigiFit Toddler. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and a Functional Range Conditioning Movement Specialist through Functional Anatomy Seminars. My previous research includes studying the relationship between balance development and Autism Spectrum Disorder while at Creighton. My work experience includes a bookseller at the Creighton Bookstore and have experience with customer service and sales in addition to my background in rehabilitation and research.
