I have experienced a varied and challenging career including: • Sixteen years as a paediatric nurse and manager• Four years in the private healthcare sector as a clinician and national training manager• Two years working in partnership with academic and health-provider stakeholders to develop clinical placements for: healthcare students• Two years Managing a pilot Graduate Management Training Scheme (informatics specialism) leading to its addition to the existing NHS scheme• Twelve years working at regional and national levels delivering integrated educational and organisational workforce development programmes to the NHS. • Maintaining a working relationship since 2008 with the NHS Leadership Academy as a regular interviewer and assessor for the NHS Graduate Management Training SchemeI have experience of communicating with people at all levels within organisations in many situations including; chairing meetings, planning and delivering workshops, speaking at conferences and one to one situations. I bring experience of complex strategic thinking and working at a national level as well as programme and project management skills.My experience of working with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical NHS and social care staff, private sector partners and colleagues from the academic world will provide a unique mix of experience to draw on and utilise.I bring excellent experience of creating and managing a wide variety of strategic, business and project documents.I have a well-developed interest in, and experience of, providing mentoring, coaching and Action Learning Set facilitation which I can draw on to bring out the best in people.
