Working as a career firefighter in one of the busiest cities in the country has given me a unique perspective into what it truly means to be selfless as well as being a team player. It has also instilled in me the drive to work hard in order to achieve a common goal. During the last decade as a firefighter, I have also developed excellent interpersonal skills enabling me to communicate with coworkers and others efficiently and effectively. While completing my degree in political science, I held various jobs that have allowed me to nurture a variety of skills including, time management, organization, customer service, and collaboration. Additionally, I am highly motivated, goal oriented, and a fast learner.
