For nearly 30 years Pat Donahue has helped leaders become the best version of themselves. Pat is an executive coach, teacher, author, and speaker whose clients range from C-Suite Executives to new leaders finding their path. In his most recent corporate role, Pat was responsible for setting the strategy and direction for leadership development and learning at the Danaher Corporation. Danaher is a Life Science company with over 50,000 associates, providing competitive advantage to customers worldwide. Before joining Danaher, Pat served as the Director of Global Leadership Development at Eli Lilly & Company which consistently ranked in the Top 20 globally for developing leaders.Prior to joining Lilly, Pat was the Division I Associate Head Basketball Coach at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. In that role for ten years, Pat helped lead teams to two NCAA and four NIT tournaments. He also served as a faculty member in the Bradley University Foster School of Business teaching Organizational Development.Pat has previously been on the Board of Directors for Chaucie’s Place whose mission is to generate awareness of and prevent child abuse through its education and prevention programs. Pat is certified in several globally recognized organizational and personal assessments including holding executive coaching certifications with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Pat has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elmhurst University, a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University of Chicago and a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. Pat’s PhD dissertation explored the relationship between leader authenticity and trust and his first book was published in 2020 entitled, “The Power of Genuine Leadership” – How Authentic Leaders Earn Trust. Pat currently serves as an adjunct faculty member with the prestigious Lacy School of Business at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
