Patrick is a chartered engineer and mechanical engineering consultant with expertise in the application of engineering simulation to solve problems in industry. He is experienced in the design and analysis of structures, piping, and pressurised systems using finite element analysis (FEA). His industrial experience in the application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has been gained from analysing problems involving tank filling, piping vibration, and heat transfer.He has worked on short duration consultancy projects as well as longer duration detailed design projects, where he has gained project engineering experience. He has been responsible for the coordination, review, and validation of design and FEA consultancy.
