I have 20 years exp. as a structural/architectural technician plus several years doing construction administration (shops, RFI's, etc), and ten+ years of study in sustainable design and have been a LEED AP since 2007. As an advocate for sustainable living I provide research within the building design industry to help meet the challenges of a changing global environment using the knowledge gained from such ideas as Natural Capitalism, Cradle to Cradle design, Biomimicry, etc, and such tools as LEED, the Minnesota Sutainable Design Guide, the Integrated Design Process, Eco-Charettes, The Living Building Challenge, and anything else that makes sense for making our world healthier and our culture more just while also maintaining a healthy economy; the triple bottom line. I have presented at the Western Great Lakes Chapter of the Association of Preservation Technology on the subject of using Biomimicry as a possible low impact method of monitoring empty historic buildings as they await restoration or preservation.
Listed skills include Sustainable Design, Revit, Leed Ap, Autocad, and 29 others.
