Bruton Knowles’ Managing Partner Patrick Downes has informed the partnership that he intends to retire from the firm’.Patrick has been with the firm for 35 years, the last 14 years holding the post of Managing Partner or its equivalent, during which he has been pivotal in growing the firm from its regional roots into a national commercial property consultancy practice with 13 offices.Patrick commented:‘I have enjoyed working at Bruton Knowles and have delivered growth in terms of scale and geographical reach during my 14 years as managing partner. I am proud of my achievements of having led the firm through the difficult period of the recession. I wish the firm well over the coming years’. As Operations Partner I was tasked with managing all operations throughout the firm, covering 6 offices, including HR, Quality, IT and systemisation, and business/team management. The role was one of five roles on our Executive team responsible for running and developing the business.Whilst delivering in this role I maintained key relationships with both Utilities and Transportation clients and I continued to Head the Sector and develop new contracts.
