Orange County Sheriff’s Department: February 1983 – May 20101983-1986- Orange County Jail - Responsibilities included training deputies in jail procedures as well as supervising inmates.1986-1996- Orange County South Patrol Division - Responsibilities included community relations, responding to emergency and public safety calls, conflict mediation, apprehension of criminal offenders, interviewing suspects, witnesses, and victims, as well as report writing. Additional assignments:SET (Special Enforcement Team) Primary responsibilities were to arrest drug offenders and deal directly with community leaders to develop solutions to neighborhood problems.SET (Special Enforcement Team). Responsibilities included surveilling career criminals and arresting them during the commission of a crime.1996-1998- Promoted to Investigator and assigned to Narcotics. Responsibilities included interviewing suspects and witnesses, and writing accurate and thorough reports to present to the District Attorney’s Office in order to obtain arrest warrants. 2007-2010- Joint Terrorism Task Force - Assigned to the FBI and received top-secret and SCI Clearance. Responsible for threat assessments, which included locating and interviewing potential terrorism suspects, interviewing witnesses, conducting surveillances, and database checks.
