Who am i?My full name is Patrick Duffy. I am a British Citizen, living in the USA since 2003. I am a Permanent Resident. I started in Computing in 1974 as a computer operator at Queen Mary College on a Dual ICL 1904s Mainframe system. I progressed in X25 systems and a general consultant to many companies and Consultancies. My wife is an ICU nurse trained in the British National Health system working at a local hospital since 2004. By 1978 I was the Deputy Operations Manager running a ICL Mainframe Computing department in Brighton Sussex. In 1986 I became a contract consultant in computing and data communications working mainly for large consultancies or directly for organizations such as AT&T, Barclays Bank, PA Consulting Group PLC, Black & Veatch of Kansas City and the Leeds General Infirmary NHS Trust.By 2001 I was back in employment as a Senior Business Project Manager at Cable & Wireless PLC, the oldest Telecommunications company in the world. In 2002 the industry fell apart with huge redundancies and an IT depression. It was then finances forced us to sell our beloved farm and make a move - to the United States!
