I have over 35 years’ experience working within the electronics industry. For the past several years I have been a Power Electronics Engineer, in a team developing both battery management and motor drive circuits. This role included schematic and layout design, test method creation, hardware verification testing, circuit tolerance calculations, component approval and circuit schematic and FET power simulations. My prior R&D experience was within the motion control and servo drive business, working with both analogue, digital electronics but mainly concentrating on power electronics (power modules and switch mode power supplies). I have a very good familiarity with all aspects of following a product development test program, including environmental, destructive and accelerated product life tests. Prior to that i spent, I some 15 years experience in the electronic service and repair field, so have gained excellent diagnostic skills.
