• Responsible for the management of risk and to identify, escalate and report operational risk events in compliance with policy. • Ensures activities remain within the organization’s risk appetite and comply with all operational risk management policies.• Manage and drive to remediation all issues identified through various internal Business partners and external Regulators.• Manage program-specific activities collaboratively with control partners.• Lead in the issue management through all lifecycles (identification of issues, development of remediation plans and ensuring key stakeholder involvement for timely resolution of issues).• Manage activities associated with issues deemed as regulatory reportable in conjunction with Risk Partners.• Maintain Executive reporting focusing on- business trends, risks, losses, and issues on aggregated basis and recommend management action to minimize risk exposures.• Support Operational Governance programs.• Design, implement and maintain effective internal controls in compliance with Operational Risk Management and other control function policies.• Provide guidance on regulatory matters in business projects related to document requirements, findings identified during project, and/or regulatory submissions.• Protect the Bank's interests by keeping up to date on external business trends, risk management issues, regulatory guidance and maintaining knowledge of existing and emerging risk issues across the business.• Risk Management orientation and experience with a focus on Operational Risk and Regulatory Compliance.• Maintain a strong understanding of the Bank Policies, Standards and Guidelines.
