Responsible for the planning and execution of modernization, upgrades and testing to all Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C5I) systems onboard Littoral Combat Ships. Heads the review of upgrades and installations performed by contractors for completeness, technical accuracy and design quality. Plans and manages the testing of all C5I systems performed during post repair sea trials. Reports directly to the Program Executive Office, in Washington DC, on the status of all upgrades and installations onboard Littoral Combat Ships. Provides leadership and project management guidance to Combat Systems Project Engineers, Test Coordinators, Technicians and Logisticians involved in the installation, modernization, testing, integration and repair of Combat and Weapons Systems onboard all in-service Littoral Combat Ships (LCS). Responsible for providing insight into the current status and future requirements of all in-service LCS’s to the Availability Execution Team, Alteration and Installation Team (AIT) Managers. Assists in the planning, execution, programming and budgeting of team resources to successfully execute availability requirements onboard LCS’s.
