Key responsibilities include:- ownership and management of the balance sheet of 2 out of 5 of the groups business units, requiring monthly reconciliation;- review of income statement transactions with the consideration of income and fringe benefit tax;- financial analysis on balance sheet and income statement movements;- review and assessment of capital expenditure to ensure compliance with accounting standards;- preparation and review of financial statements within the group;- business process review and development with the aim of increasing efficiency;- oversight of external audit and review. This includes preparation of supporting documentation for APAC and lead point for APAC; and- mentoring and coaching of junior accountants.
