As the international market manager, my responsibilities include:- Understanding the market needs of acute care hospitals in all regions: Latin America, Middle East/Africa, Asia/Pacific, and Europe.- Developing and creating market messaging tailored to our international customers and distributed via Rauland's webpages, social media, press releases, and trade shows.- Understanding the buying process our customers use when selecting solutions for their problems.- Understanding the end user and the problems they experience so our solutions will effectively meet their needs.- Identifying trends in the global acute care market that will impact our business – technology developments, regulatory issues, competitive challenges, and business and economic issues that may affect end-user purchases of our solutions.- Identifying solutions that will position our distribution partners for continued growth.- Communicating how Rauland delivers value to the healthcare market.- Collecting information from multiple sources for placement on our product roadmap for product development.- Understanding our competitors' strengths and weaknesses related to our product solutions.

Product manager responsible for the hardware components and devices used in the Responder life-safety communications systems. I also provide regulatory guidance for the markets where our products are used and participate in the National Electrical Manufacturers Assoc. (NEMA) Health Care Communications industry group. I have contributed to all aspects of the product development lifecycle from initial concept, new product launch, production, and product retirement.
