I worked as a Match Day Reporter for Galway United in the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland. My duties included providing minute by minute updates for the FAI website, writing a post match report and interviewing players and managers after the match.

Worked on the flagship sports story for the Limerick Voice TV bulletin, a broadcasting project run by the University of Limerick. I was tasked with finding a fresh sports story with a news angle, shooting and editing the footage all in one day for an evening deadline. The experience helped me prepare for the cut throat environment of TV news and improved my editing and presenting skills.

Served as The Limerick Voice Soccer Correspondent, writing previews, reports, colour pieces and player profiles for both the website and printed addition of the paper.

Worked as a co editor, designer and contributor to a Scottish Lower League Football Magazine, which saw me improve my Indesign skills, develop new contacts in Scotland and further enhance my feature writing skills.

Developed a blog as a platform to publish my own content, ranging from season reviews of Galway GAA and Galway United, to feature pieces with players such as Colm Horgan and Jake Keegan. I am currently taking a break from blogging.

Worked as the Presenter of the West Awake Sports show for 2 years, which involved picking and researching stories, organising special guests and planning out segment times for a weekly 1-2 hour slot, The show featured specials focusing on everything from the Cheltenham Racing Festival to Euro 2016.
