-Implement new storage appliance and virtualization solutions-Manage daily operations for network infrastructure-Design, implement and maintain Exchange 2010/2013 environment

•Design, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for entire corporation •Manage and secure mission critical infrastructure; design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity methods for these systems•Manage and troubleshoot enterprise e-mail system in clustered server environment •Deploy corporate document management solution for enterprise •Provide day to day support of co-located facility and back-up co-located facility

•Architect and manage network infrastructure for entire Havas Media North America infrastructure•Plan and design disaster recovery plan; execute and test DR plan quarterly for predictable results•Design, implement and administer virtual datacenters for primary and co-located facility for Havas Media and sister divisions•Implement and manage Netapp san storage systems for Havas North and South American datacenters•Troubleshoot virtual infrastructure or storage related issues; optimize infrastructure for industry best practices•Lead team of 5 Engineers, facilitate knowledge transfer and sharing. Prioritize workloads for IT-wide initiatives

•Maintain organization’s IT network infrastructure consisting of 10 locations and 1 colocation for the U.S. and Canada offices•Delegate multiple projects and tasks to junior network administrators that concern network infrastructure maintenance and enhancements as well as daily on-going helpdesk activities •Work with project managers, general managers and directors on Company’s short-term and long-term IT initiatives•Migrate our physical server infrastructure to a virtual infrastructure for the purpose of reducing recurring costs incurred by licensing, cooling and electrical requirements for Hachette’s datacenter•Provision layer 2 and layer 3 switches for VOIP network connectivity and MPLS traffic

•Manage and train technical support staff for day to-day operations concerning the Local Area Network. •Implement and install Novell Netware 6.5 with eDirectory and Windows 2003 with Active Directory services for agency’s central and satellite offices. Servers facilitate City Planning’s enterprise file, print and mail services along with hosting agency’s geographic data services. •Implement and configure Zenworks for Severs and Desktops and McAfee ePolicy servers. Zenwork for Desktops and ePolicy services allowed network and helpdesk team to remotely manage workstations and deploy critical patches.•Plan, test, and conduct disaster recovery activities on City Planning’s network infrastructure.

•Implement and maintain Netware and Windows servers for a 4,000 end-user network •Maintain patching levels for new and current Windows and Netware server deployments•Implement and maintain Group Policies within Active directory•Configure and deploy DNS, DHCP and WINS; troubleshoot problems related to these services•Supervise and train network technicians; assist them in resolving daily issues funneled through the helpdesk
