Responsible for refactoring old PHP server-side code to use Message Bus in order to create a more well structured and future-proof area of the codebase. Assisted in a large-scale project in mapping databases to create new querying methods to be used elsewhere in the codebase. Worked collaboratively with other developers, as well as independently in remote and in-office environments.

Collaborated with another student to construct a movie database with full user functionality, including writing reviews of movies and actors, following other users, viewing what movies/actors other users have seen or reviewed, and creating a list of recommended movies. Created a flowchart to outline goals and divide responsibilities. Communicated frequently with Teaching Assistants to ensure time restrictions were being met. Attended professors office hours to ensure strong code was being written following the instructions and learning goals of the class.

Managed all prepared fruit and vegetable dishes within the produce department, including preparing said dishes, ordering required foods to meet demands, and ensuring customer satisfaction through direct orders. Aided in the hiring and training procedure to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for customers and staff. Worked directly with Perth’s local food bank to ensure minimal food waste through large events such as drives, as well as weekly donations from each department.
