Working as a Project Officer - Officiating & Championships as a member of the Events Department involved in coordination of officiating appointments and logistics at Australian Championships; supporting pre-event planning, administration and strategy of national and international events; and assisted in onsite operational delivery of Australian Championships • Event operations: assisted in the pre-event administration for national events – operating tournament management system, organising briefings, match scheduling and information dissemination.• Competition logistics: coordinating all officials appointments at Australian Championships and associated travel logistics, whilst adhering to an allocated budget.• Event management: supported the onsite management of two Australian Championships including the coordination of closing ceremonies and venue bump out.• Budget development: assisted in the research of officials’ expenses used to design annual officiating budget in 2020.• Pathway development: coordinating the implementation of the new officials database portal; to improve the efficiency of the appointment process to Australian Championships.• Stakeholder relationship: a point of contact for State/Territory Hockey Associations, Officiating Appointment Panel and officials in regards to national appointments.
