Manage a Human Resources Department responsible for over 585 hourly and salary personnel at 55 locations and departments across two states. Directly responsible for recruiting, training and development, risk management, benefit administration and payroll. Develop and enhance employee relations and bench strength at both the operational and corporate level. Perform risk management and OSHA compliance reviews; advise the executive team of what preventative measures or training is necessary to ensure employees/patrons are in a safe environment. Manage claims and incidents by investigating and collecting information on all EEOC, MCHR and harassment claims, and participating in unemployment hearings. Serve as liaison between operations and the executive team to maintain effective communication throughout the organization.
