Working with these owners to establish a strong business plan, sound inventory management principles, and foundational P&L management skills, Patrick learned the importance of a solid business strategy, and his responsibility to provide sound guidance to ensure their continued livelihood. As a senior leader at Hallmark Cards Patrick continued to hone his customer development and strategic planning skills through a series of executive leadership roles focused on many of the largest chain-drug and supermarket retailers in the United States. This included leading the development of insight-based growth strategies for high-priority retail partners, successfully leading a team of 5,000 people in strategic account management and store-level execution across 15,000 rooftops, embedding the best-practice disciplines of category management, customer collaborative planning, and price-optimization impacting over 30,000 rooftops, and securing multi-million dollar contract extensions.Following Hallmark Patrick shifted his focus to the healthcare industry, leading customer development at InHouse Physicians. Applying the principles and skills learned throughout his career Patrick led the organization to triple-digit revenue growth.As an executive with experience across industries, and with businesses from small to large, Patrick recognizes the complex challenges of today’s marketplace. “It’s my belief that for every challenge there is a win-win solution, and the best solution will be found through strong team leadership, collaborative problem-solving, disciplined work processes, and effectively leveraging data for insight based decision making.”
