Oversaw all community and government relations matters. Served as direct and confidential advisor to president and primary contact for congressional delegation, local elected and appointed officials, and community members with directive of fostering strong long-term relationships and promoting college’s best interests. Managed all college relations with all for-profit and non-profit organizations, including charitable giving and event participation. Represented college on various local and statewide boards and committees, including Board of the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce and Burlington International Airport Technical Advisor Committee. Served as president’s designee on various campus committees. - Promoted college to external community in timely, appropriate, and sensitive manner. Attended various community functions representing college. Worked with president and assistant to president to ensure representation of president at planning of all major events for college. Served as college research integrity officer. - Coordinated college’s legal representation. Collaborated with president and assistant to president on projects, challenges, and celebrations for betterment of college (commencement, presidential search and transition, inauguration, etc.). Worked with Office of Special Events, Institutional Advancement, class officers, and others to ensure smooth running of events. - Operated as executive lead on implementation of new database for advancement for member colleges of Green Mountain Higher Ed Consortium (Saint Michael’s, Champlain, and Middlebury).Served as cabinet lead on strategic planning initiative, Life After College, preparing graduates for post-graduation world.- Oversaw commencement responsibility, including confirming and serving as point person for Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph Dunford, and New Orleans Mayor, Mitch Landrieu (commencement speakers for 2017 and 2018 respectively).
