For almost six decades, the BetterTiles brand has been built on unmatched industry expertise and a reputation of only working with quality, compliant products. Our model has always been to create mutually beneficial partnerships that grow our business and positively impact the designers and architects who showcase our tiles. When people ask about our work, I tell them to look across the Sydney skyline, and they will see many of our projects. I’ve been selected to appear on safety and compliance advisory panels for many years, and we’ve provided tiling systems for commercial and commonwealth projects. I’m pleased to say that we have many ongoing relationships that exceed the lifespan of most businesses. We were part of the build team for Central Station 40 years ago and worked on the refurbishment for Transport NSW recently. Similarly, our relationship with KFC began four decades ago and is still going strong today. Think of a business in Australia; there is a good chance we’ve tiled for them. Woolworths, Qantas, QVB, Lend Lease, Ampol, Rashays and Dan Murphy’s are among the names that rely on our end-to-end development, manufacturing and supply process. The development component is critical. Many tile suppliers don’t truly understand the technical aspects of a tile or the need to conform to Australian standards. Slip is the main issue, especially in hospitality, because businesses can easily be sued for slipping-related accidents. If we can’t source the best tile for the job, we work alongside a factory to develop what we need.I’d rather invest time and money and use my technical knowledge for the perfect outcome. It’s an approach that’s incredibly satisfying when others have tried and failed to deliver, but we can get the job done.
