Job rotation in several departments with focus on production and quality control:- Sterile and non-sterile batch production; compounding- CMR preparation (cleanroom); documentation via BD CATO software- Operation of analytical instrumentation (HPLC, IC, IR, UV-VIS...)

Quality Responsible Person:- GxP compliance: inspections, audits, due diligence- Quality Management System: Risk-, Deviation-, CAPA-, Change-, Document Management- Employee trainings- Monitoring performance & reporting of KPIs

Through my student position I was able to support various departments: regulatory affairs, quality assurance & - control, pharmacovigilance and medical affairs. My tasks included:- updating SOPs- writing internal quality reports- proof reading & translating of patient leaflets; adaption according to CCDS and QRD- monitoring temperature deviations of medical samples - archiving of study and regulatory documents- literature inqueries for safety submissions and pharmaceutical compounding problems- assisting the preparation for internal and external inspections.

In the laboratory I advised students how to produce and analyse pharmaceutical preparations. In the production phase, the main focus was on granulate preparation and testing. In the analytical module I specialised on testing of release profiles via Flow-Through cell (apparatus 4) of solid dosage forms according to the European Pharmacopoeia.

I tought common laboratory practices dealing with cancer cell-lines by execution and interpretation of binding assays via flow-cytometry.

The International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation represents over 350.000 pharmacy students worldwide. IPSF is official partner of WHO and strongly advocates public health and life-long learning through its members. As CP I promoted public health via online & campus campaigns at Austrian pharmacy faculties. By participating in online meetings and student congresses aroundthe world, I improved my cultural awareness and learned to work in diverse multi-national teams. As official delegate I represented AFÖP in general assemblies and was responsible for the national student delegation. To commit to interprofessionalism, I managed to form a collaboration between Austrian medical and pharmaceutical students in a project for children (teddybear hospital).

Akademischer Fachverein Österreichischer Pharmazeut_innen represents Austrian pharmacy students on a national and international level. As president, I was leading and training a team of 15 students of the pharmaceutical faculties in Vienna, Graz and Innsbruck. As external representant my responsibility was to negotiate sponsorships and cooperations with pharmaceutical companies, the university and national stakeholders such as the chamber of pharmacists. I successfully implemented an enhanced communication strategy including social media channels, print publishing and the acquisition of a national online platform for Austrian pharmacy students.Furthermore I launched an annual AFÖP generations event.

The European Pharmaceutical Students’ Association represents more than 160.000 pharmacy students in 34 European countries. My portfolio, as a link between EPSA and Austrian students, focused on the implementation of mobility and internship projects. I was also involved in the application for EU grants that support mobility cooperation projects with other European countries.At the University of Vienna I organised a career and networking event for students with pharmacists who work in a variety of different fields.

All three internships focused on validation of cold-chain transportation, adequate storage and transportation of products in pre-wholesale. I developed an Excel-based tool to visualise seasonal temperature fluctuations in the warehouse.
