I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than fifteen years’ experience in the construction industry. I pride myself on being a diverse surveyor who is highly motivated and can accommodate the challenges from a variety of sectors.The experience gained throughout my career has enabled me to be dynamic and tailor different skill sets to meet the needs of each individual client. This includes pre and post contract services from assisting master planning studies, procurement strategies, cost planning to contract administration/ employer’s agent, contract management and final accounts.I have implemented a fundamental cultural change to key quantity surveying practices at Ridge and provided training across the country to each office. I have also developed the Ridge cost database and been actively involved in discipline group meetings by presenting to the Senior Partner on topics such as BIM, Ridge standard documentation and technological advances in surveying.I take great joy in mentoring young surveyors from an assortment of disciplines by providing support on day to day activities and also offering first hand guidance on the APC process.I have been actively involved in a number of organisations namely the RICS Oxfordshire Matrics as Vice Chair and also the Oxford Young Professionals Society as Secretary. Both of these provided a forum to meet and develop contacts by means of organised events and fundraising for local charities.I’m a key team player and go that extra mile to support my fellow colleagues. I know the importance of unity and team bonding and have organised team socials & football teams to facilitate these core values.I take pride in being an approachable person who offers structured and accurate advice.
