My function with Gerrits Construction has been to oversee all field administrative functions. My work includes multitasking on numerous projects while assisting the project managers in assuring they have the proper information to succeed on their projects. I manage all RFI’s, shop drawings, submittals, mock-ups and close out documents for all of Gerrits’ projects. I keep owners, architects, and agencies having jurisdiction in the know of all issues to assure the projects continue to flow smoothly and stay in budget. My background in accounting and construction has taught me to stay on task as well as extremely organized, thus allowing me to multitask on multiple projects at the same time. As a fourth generation team member I have been involved in all aspects of the family business, from being on job sites to the administrative side. I’ve grown up around it and worked for Gerrits during all school breaks. I began my journey with the family business upon my graduation.
