Support successful industrialization of new lithographic scanner modules and components in the ASML factory (new product introduction), in particular wafer table, in situ wafer table cleaning and immersion hood:• Review manufacturability of new designs (software/hardware)• Member of the project team during the NPI phase• Provide 2nd line support in case of production issues during the pilot phase • Identify structural problems during the NPI phase and provide/pursue solutions for them• Initiate structural actions for reducing cycle time (e.g. by increasing first pass test yield, proposing modifications in production sequence, optimizing procedures, etc.)• Support beta tests of new hardware/software• Provide work preparation for the factory• Training of operators and support departments

Job description: • Maintenance of existing and development of new interconnection technologies for the fabrication of wire wound components (coils, transformers), in particular on the area of soldering and welding.• Building up knowledge w.r.t. the above mentioned. fabrication technologies by maintaining contacts with suppliers and research institutes, visiting seminars and fairs and keeping up with literature. • Disseminate the build up knowledge and giving technical support to the international production centre’s (Portugal, Taiwan, Mexico, Brazil).• Testing and evaluation of new production means and equipment.

Job description: maintenance and development of processes for opto-electronic components, in particular semiconductor lasers for telecommunication purposes, with the aim to realize new components and to improve fabrication processes:• Manufacturing of the above mentioned components by using a broad range of thin film techniques such as photolithographic patterning of etch masks, various wet and dry etching techniques and various wet (galvanic) and dry layer deposition techniques in a clean room environment.• Continuous improvement of existing components by optimization of used processes and the development of new (solid state) device structures.• Transfer of developed processes and products to Development and in some cases directly to Production.• Development of masks for new structures and components.• Control and maintenance of part of the clean room equipment.
