Patrick Giblin is an entrepreneurial-big-picture senior manager and consultant, experienced in transitions, conversions, decommissions, implementations and operations management in a dynamic operating environment. He demonstrates skilled and effective decision making with focus and experience in revenue generation, profitability, relationship building, risk management and compliance. Mr. Giblin currently is brought on to revamp and revitalize the risk, compliance, legal, and operational risk management for companies in the electronic payment product lines and emerging payments. He is knowledgeable about network guidelines and expectations on the issuing and acquiring sides of the industry, as well as FFIEC, FDIC, OCC, CFPB and NACHA guidelines related to all respective electronic product lines. He has been working with startup financial technology companies helping them establish the compliance and legal structure for the business and liaising with the Banks on matters relating to risk, legal, and compliance. In past services, Mr. Giblin has had oversight of 9 different departments within the payments division during his tenure in the banking industry, including various operational product lines, risk, compliance and underwriting. Operating Income increased 250% from YE 2010 – YE 2012, EBIDTA increased 200% to $5.4mm over the same time period while maintaining an EBIDTA margin of greater than 65% over the two years after assuming oversight role for operations. He has typically been a critical decision maker for organizations he works with and an escalation point for clients, staff, and management team. He has had specific experience in multiple bank conversions, core processing conversions, and decommission and divestiture of assets post acquisition.
