Responsible for making sure the system (Oracle 11i), channel notifications and price lists were prepared and made available in line with the required regional pricing strategies.The role evolved to also cover the APJ support of the Enterprise quoting tool (Big Machines) which involved working with the regional Sales and Sales Support teams to resolve tool issues and also work on implementing and rolling out enhancement requests. With the acquisition of companies it was also necessary with this role to be part of the Global Mergers & Acquisition team. This included being tasked to ensure interim processes could be put in place to manage the pricing and quoting for the acquired company during the transition period as they were being integrated into the company.
